Linktree is now allowing users to highlight links better with featured layout function

Linktree, a popular link-in-bio startup, unveiled several new features today aimed at enhancing user experience and functionality. Among the highlights is a featured layout designed to spotlight links more effectively, alongside the capability to fetch the latest posts from Instagram, and support for a larger profile picture.

The introduction of the featured layout allows users to highlight specific links with greater prominence. When opting for the "Featured layout" for a link, it automatically expands, offering a content preview for links sourced from platforms like YouTube, TikTok, Spotify, and Instagram.

Expanding upon its previous feature release in January, Linktree now extends support for fetching the latest posts from Instagram. This update enables users to showcase up to six of their most recent posts and Reels directly from their Instagram account.

Furthermore, Linktree introduces support for larger profile pictures, departing from the conventional small circular profile image. This enhancement provides users with the option to display a bigger image on their profile, aligning with their page's color scheme for a cohesive aesthetic.

In addition to these visual enhancements, Linktree introduces "Text Links," a new feature allowing users to display plain text on their profile. This feature is particularly useful for conveying detailed information such as a comprehensive bio, opening hours, or blog content.

Linktree, boasting a user base of over 47 million, recently launched its social commerce program in alpha, partnering with industry giants like Sephora, Revolve, and Urban Outfitters. Through this program, Linktree offers creators commission rates ranging from 12 to 15% via affiliate links, expanding its functionality beyond link management to include revenue generation for its users.
